Was ich nach 5 Mährobotern und tausenden Euro
verbranntem Geld gelernt habe — und wie du den nächsten Fehlkauf vermeidest.

Meinen ersten Mähroboter habe ich beim Baumarkt für 1.300 Euro gekauft. Die Erwartungen waren riesig: endlich immer einen gepflegten Rasen, ohne selbst Hand anlegen zu müssen.

 

Das war der größte Irrtum.

 

Schon nach drei Wochen kannte ich die ersten Schwächen. Nach drei Monaten wusste ich, wo die echten Probleme liegen.

 

Mehrere tausend Euro verbrannt.

Und ein Gefühl, das jeder kennt, der schon mal in einen Fehlkauf gemacht hat: das Gefühl, veräppelt worden zu sein.

 

Dann habe ich einen gegen alle anderen antreten lassen. Nur einer hat so funktioniert wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe. 

 

Und mit ihm fünf Erkenntnisse, die ich gerne von Anfang an gehabt hätte. Wenn du gerade vor dem nächsten Kauf stehst, lies das hier zuerst. Es spart dir Geld, Zeit und sehr viel Frust.

01. Fehler

Die Rasenkanten werden nicht sauber gemäht. Bei keinem der vier Modelle.

Jede Marke wirbt mit „mäht bis zur Kante". Niemand schafft das. Niemand.

 

Das Problem ist die Kantenerkennung. Selbst wenn du mit dem Roboter die Kante einmal komplett von Hand abfährst und sie ihm zeigst — beim eigentlichen Mähen weicht er ständig von der Rasenkante ab.

 

Das Ergebnis: ein gigantischer Abstand zum Rand der nicht gemäht wird. 

Zu rund 99 % der Fälle eiern die Geräte an den Kanten hin und her, als hätten sie keine Ahnung, wo die Rasenkante überhaupt ist.
